AIS(Annual Information System):The Income tax department has launched a new mobile app for taxpayers that will enable the taxpayers to view informations related to TDS/TCS, interest, dividend,share transactions, tax payments and income tax refunds. 

Steps to download AIS:

Step1: Visit https://www.incometax.gov.in/iec/foportal/

Step2: Login with your ID and password

Step 3: Go to "Services" and open "Annual Information Statement (AIS)"

Step 4: A dialog box pops up in which click on "Proceed

Step 5: Select "AIS".

Step6 : Select "Financial Year" for which you want to download AIS and Click on "AIS"

Step7: Click on "Download"

Password of AIS:

Password of AIS includes two things:

• PAN of the taxpayer in small letters
• Dateof birth of taxpayer in ddmmyyyy format without any space in between

E.g:- If taxpayer's PAN - ABCDE1234F and Date of Birth is 01/01/2000 then password will be abcde1234f01012000.
